Why Him? With Wall Street (and management) expecting
commercial services to bring in big revenue, Stemper and his
team must drive initiatives that attract both small- and midsized
businesses to his Comcastic products and services. He's
delivering, with Comcast Business now the fastest growing
sector of Comcast's business. In Q4, revenue increased 32%
to $660 million. Revenue grew another 27% in Q1. Stemper's
division is rolling out new services, including
advanced voice and Metro
Ethernet network services, as
Comcast looks to add even more
clients to its roster, particularly in
the mid-size category. He's juggling
it all-and somehow
has managed to never
have had a cup of
coffee in his entire

Mindy Grossman

entrepreneurs' champion, Grossman
continues to take HSN to greater heights
by embracing innovative partnerships
that meld commerce with entertainment.
In the last year, she has ramped up the
network's collaboration with film studios
to create product lines and events
inspired by popular films like " The Help "
and " Snow White and the Huntsman. "
The result? Awareness of the films
skyrocketed. Another strategic focus
for Grossman is music. Sales of artist
releases from Rod Stewart and Lionel
Richie broke records. Moving forward
we'll see more technological innovation

Why Him? He's known for his billions, his
Dallas Mavericks and his ballsy business
sense. To be sure, this guy doesn't shy away
from risk. Last year, Cuban relaunched HDNet
as AXS TV with the help of pop culture darling
Ryan Seacrest, entertainment and music venue
company AEG and CAA, and recently launched
a live music concert series that starred the
best tribute bands around (We've been to
the Roxy in L.A. for a few of these Monday
night performances, and they're off da hook).
With plenty of projects and even a starring
role on ABC's entrepreneurial reality show
" Shark Tank, " Cuban knows how to stay busy.
Meanwhile, his partnership with AEG is beginning
to bear fruit. One thing is certain: He has

assembled a strong team to reinvigorate on-air
live entertainment.
