the added role last December of gearing
up FOX's new ad-supported weather
streaming service, which launched in late
October. That meant hiring approximately
100 meteorologists-and she prioritized
a talented and diverse team. " Currently,
we utilize a four-prong approach
to engage diverse populations within the
weather community, which includes partnering
with strategic universities along
with industry organizations, " she says.
When it comes to female empowerment
books, Berg believes it's never too young
to start. One of her favorites is " Rosie
Revere, Engineer. "

Day is helping to
lead the global expansion of ViacomCBS'
streaming footprint. Under her guidance,
Paramount+ launched in 25 markets
globally in 2021, including in the U.S.,
Latin America, Canada, the Nordics and
Australia. Day has also led her team in
solidifying an agreement with Comcast
to launch the new streaming service
SkyShowtime in more than 20 European
territories, encompassing more than
90 million homes. As global expansion
continues, it is important to ensure the
workforce mirrors the diversity of the
audiences the company serves, Day
says. " ViacomCBS' recruitment strategy
provides a framework to ensure we are
hiring the most qualified people across all
demographics. "

Feeney is a downright force at Hulu, building
relationships that eventually translate
into new content offerings for the streamer's
Live TV offering. She transformed it
into a destination for sports, thanks to
agreements with the likes of the NFL that
made NFL Network a part of the service's
base plan lineup. She's also found creative
ways to bring new content to the platform
that doesn't force consumers to pay more
for their plans. She masterminded Hulu's
partnership with ABC News that has given
all Hulu subscribers access to a 24/7 live
coverage news feed since March 20, 2020.

With the aid of her army of 75, Finney
oversees the mechanisms that support
Disney's direct-to-consumer streaming
services and global content sales. From
leading the team that provides the backend
rights for the launch of D+, Star and
Hotstar, to the team that provides rights
management and deal valuations for all
basic, SVOD, AVOD and syndication deals,
Finney is a key strategist and negotiator.
And she couldn't be happier with Disney's
efforts to broaden diversity, including expanded
recruiting and manager training.

we still have work to do, " she says.

exec helped position discovery+ for a
strong start. From editorial vision to affiliate
and ad sales, Holme makes bold
decisions that drive subscriber growth. As
the first person-male or female-in this
position, Holme's unique, differentiated
content strategy propelled the platform's
growth by leaning into Discovery's massive
library and IP while adding unique
discovery+ content such as spinoffs,
specials and documentaries. Perhaps it's
something she learned from the book
" Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to
Lead, " by Nell Scovell and Sheryl Sandberg.
" I recently reread it to see if it still
resonated almost 10 years later-it did! "

Lyons led the creation
of HBO Max and steered her team
toward a successful launch during the
height of the pandemic last May. She is
now working to shape the app experience
by defining content discovery and focusing
on innovation regarding how content
