promotion of " The Chi " leaned into social
responsibility as well as marketing tactics
executed by artists of color. Then there's
been the non-stop buzz for " Dexter's "
return. These remarkable marketing campaigns
earned Showtime a nomination by
Promax for Creative Marketing Team of
the Year. She has a long list of male allies
who she says are in her personal Hall of
Fame. They include Jason Klarman, " who
hired me at Bravo and let me take 11
weeks off to spend invaluable time with
my ailing father literally two weeks post
my start date... Bill Koenigsberg, who
helped me no matter what my employment
status was and Michael Engleman
who was so patient with me at Showtime
while I figured out my plans. " n

retail store, they enter a space that Eliason
transformed to make them feel right at
home with Charter. She's opened 600 new
stores and established spaces to promote
Spectrum Mobile, the company's fledgling
wireless business. More stores mean
more employees, and Eliason and her
teams now count more than 5,000 that
fall under their purview. " Managing retail
has an extra layer of complexity, as we
work hard to have our employees match
the communities in which we serve, " she

Supply chain issues continued to plague
the world in 2021, but Hawkins' efforts
to diversify Charter's suppliers have paid
off. But it's not always been smooth sailing
with some suppliers questioning her
authority simply because of her gender.
" I've been fortunate to have many Charter
executives redirect suppliers back to me
to ensure I can be effective in negotiating
the best deal for Charter, " she says.
She's stayed in close contact with all of
Charter's suppliers, working with them to
not only negotiate the best deals but also
to gain insight into the challenges they're
facing in securing components. The
information she gathered helped Charter
remain agile through a time of great
uncertainty, making it invaluable.
