FETV's audience, Cohen overhauled
its programming schedule with a
focus on authenticity. That's helped
with a 20% increase in FETV's distribution
in the first half of 2022. She's
also helped broker deals with distributors
to add multiple programs that
fueled an all-time ratings high during
prime for three straight months.
In retrospect, I think the
entire pandemic was a
mental health 'aha moment.'
As we all continue to climb out from
under the wreckage, I find myself
more protective of my boundaries and
also deeply connected to my own
well-being. "

Showtime Networks
Winograde's passion for dynamic
storytelling propelled Showtime
to claim four of the top five
scripted originals on premium
cable this past year. She also
leads DEI efforts across Showtime's
programming with an eye
to not only develop new talent
but elevate BIPOC and female
voices in front of and behind the
camera. In 2022, more than 60%
of Showtime scripted series leads
or co-leads are BIPOC.
Ava DuVernay is a
woman who has
inspired me. Not only is
she an incredibly gifted and
accomplished filmmaker, but her
dedication to making a real social
impact through her creation of
Array Crew and Array Releasing is
remarkable. I saw her speak
recently, and I haven't been able
to stop thinking about her
leadership and poise. She is a
force of nature! "
Latman earned a major promotion in
April, granting her leadership over the
linear and streaming strategies for
HGTV and Food Network. So far this
year, she's been responsible for the
launches of seven of the top 20 freshman
hits among A25-54 and W25-54,
including " Home Town Kickstart "
and " Guy's Chance of a Lifetime. "
Externally, she was appointed director-at-large
of The WICT Network's
global board and she continues to
mentor programming executives.
My favorite life hack is going
to bed early! Sleep should
never be underrated. Being
well-rested really can prove beneficial:
you feel better, you look better, your
brain thinks better. Trying to be
creative or just trying to focus when
sleep-deprived is brutal. "

As a conductor
on the Nat
Geo train, Vissering oversees the
production crews that span the
globe. Currently, that's more than 50
crews across 30 countries. She led
the development and production of
this year's " Sharkfest " programming
extravaganza in which she partnered
with Minorities in Shark Science to
support women of color in the field of
marine science.
I had a mental 'aha moment'
when I realized that I wasn't
the only woman in an
executive role who had moments of
insecurity and self-doubt. It's incredibly
important to find a confidante to
share your inner thoughts. You will
find out you are not alone. "

It's been another banner year at
Allen Media and ESG and Arouh is a
big reason why. Among her toplines,
she secured the distribution of The
Weather Group and ESN channels
on YouTube TV, led the distribution
transition strategy from Black News
Channel to theGrio and maintained
45 million subscribers across eight
distributors, and secured new carriage
agreements with Cox Communications
for three ESN nets.
