Altice-owned Cheddar is continuing
to solidify its identity
and forge its path. In 2021,
Malaspina spearheaded
the launch of the rebrand and repositioning of Cheddar to Cheddar
News. This was not simply a name change, but rather a statement
that the channel is now the " Voice of What's Next. " She also led the
charge for increased distribution for Cheddar News along with News
12 and i24NEWS. And she accomplished all this the same year she
became a new mom.
Q&A
How will inflation impact the media and broadband
space? I think it will cause people to stay at home,
watch more TV, access more OTT platforms and use
more broadband to keep themselves busy.
What childhood memento have you kept? My photo albums. I love to
go back and look at all of my trips, childhood memories and school
photos.
Favorite dish that I can also make myself: I am a baker so it would be
my lemon cookies!

Solomon enjoys a good challenge, so he didn't allow the ongoing

pandemic to slow the growth of Tennis Channel. The spring 2021
relaunch of Tennis.com-aka the world's most-trafficked tennis
website-nearly doubled user engagement across the website,
the Tennis Channel Plus streaming services, and social media.
In August, ahead of the U.S. Open, Tennis Channel expanded its
international reach to include the U.K. and India. Solomon also
oversaw the launch of a new international series starring Greek
tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas.

decades building a network around a 24/7 sport
