With more than a year behind him as captain of
Cox Communications, Greatrex is carving out his
place in company history, capping off 2022 with
the launch of Cox Mobile across all of its markets.
Folks across the Cox Family (that's what they call
themselves) describe him as customer-centric-
not surprising given his past marketing roles at
Coca-Cola, Unilever and Eagle Family Food-and
future-focused. Greatrex has big ideas about the
metaverse and the possibilities of smart connectivity.
Maybe his life as an identical twin gives him
special insight into the potential for a digital twin
to reshape how we live, work and play. He wants
to make sure Cox is at the forefront of connectivity
through managed cloud services, B2B advancements,
commercial IOT and more, all while
continuing to bring broadband to more Americans.
Cox bridged the digital divide for more than
650,000 families over the past year.

WHERE DO YOU WORK MOST FREQUENTLY-HOME,
OFFICE, ROAD? When I'm not on the road meeting with our
frontline employees and customers, you'll find me connecting
with people in the office.
HOW DO YOU PERSONALLY GIVE BACK TO YOUR COMMUNITY?
My passion for environmental sustainability was initially
sparked more than a decade ago when I saw firsthand the
importance of ensuring clean water for communities worldwide
and the critical role of water steward. More recently, I've
enjoyed leading the charge for Cox Communications' efforts
to achieve our enterprise-wide goals of zero waste to landfill
and carbon and water neutral, as well as my time as a board
member for the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK).

National Park in Patagonia-a marvelously rugged and wild
place at the end of the earth!

It's becoming even clearer how much faith Comcast chief Brian
Roberts has in Cavanagh. In October, he was selected as president of
Comcast Corp., only the third person to hold the title in the company's
60-year history. When Jeff Shell was terminated in late April following
an outside investigation that corroborated a female employee's
allegations of inappropriate conduct, it was Cavanagh who was tapped
to step up to the plate to lead NBCU on an interim basis. Some are
whispering that the arrangement may be more permanent, and that
wouldn't be too surprising given his track record of delivering strong
operational and financial results. He's already well versed in NBCU doings, working closely with Roberts
to manage the businesses and teams enterprise-wide. He inherits a division that had a record-breaking
2022-23 global, national and local upfront and expanded its tech-enabled trading model One Platform.
Streaming also was strong, with Peacock accruing 22 million paying subscribers thanks, in part, to the
continuation of the hybrid-movie release model. ●
