WHAT IMPACT COULD AI HAVE ON THE INDUSTRY'S
FUTURE? Technologists, on average, do not truly respect
forms of human creativity other than their own. If they did,
they would not be trying to supplant writers and artists with
code. I know there is a lot of money to be made and power to
be gained, but here is what true respect means: I wouldn't do
it for all the money and power in the world.

December by announcing
that Charter's network
evolution plan is expected
to be completed at a
target cost of $100 per
passing, an aggressive
price point that is well below
that of its peers. She
keeps a close watch on
all things finance, moving
into the CFO role in 2021
after four years as corporate
treasurer. Part of her
number crunching this
past year included leading all the financial activity
around its rural construction initiative, which
had reached 187,000 rural passings through
November 2022. Fischer also finds time to be a
strong supporter of Women at Charter, the company's
business resource group for women, and
serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Executive
Steering Committee.

WHERE DO YOU WORK MOST FREQUENTLY-
HOME, OFFICE, ROAD? The office. I find
meetings, collaboration and communication
all happen more effectively and naturally in the
office.
INDUSTRY TOP PRIORITY FOR 2023: At
Charter, with our network evolution and
expansion initiatives well underway, a top
priority for me it to ensure we are providing the
financial and procurement support necessary
to keep them on track, on budget and moving
forward. Both initiatives require significant
coordination and resources, and at Charter we
have the necessary experience and a long track
record of success with undertakings of this size
and scope.
