Duncan and Chapados are changing the lives of Alaskans every day through GCI-powered connections. The
company completed the deployment of more than 800 miles of subsea fiber from Unalaska to Kodiak, bringing
2-gigabit residential internet speeds to the isolated Aleutian Islands. The provider has also been awarded an NTIA
grant to bring that service to Bethel in 2024. Its dedication to the state's Indigenous people grows stronger by the
day, and GCI launched an Indigenous Business Resource Group to take that commitment one step further.
