THE WHY? Under Ceasar's leadership, Comcast has made a significant
investment in technology as the company evolves networks to support 10G.
That doesn't mean she hasn't found time to support DEI within the company
and the greater industry. She's served on the Emma Bowen Foundation
Technology & Innovation Council, which works to diversify the media industry
by giving talented students of color the opportunity to intern at some of the
nation's leading media companies.
SHE SAYS... " Leadership can best support DEI by making it part of the fabric
of how they do business every day, not just a meeting or event. It's about
being inclusive, respecting all, being intentional about hiring diverse talent. "
WHAT TV SERIES OR MOVIE INSPIRES YOU? " Blackish " inspires me
with its positive portrayal of black family life, even dealing with DEI issues was
handled with positivity.

THE WHY? The Charter compensation
team planned and executed the
elevation of the company's starting
wage to $20 per hour under Chan's
guidance. She also collaborated with
the HR Technology division to design
platforms to best support employees
and maintain business continuity from
remote to in-office environments.

for an Employee Resource Group to
have a mission and purpose that not
only supports the business needs but
engages employees in a meaningful
way. Equally important is visible and
active executive sponsors and ERG
leadership teams that reflect the
diversity of our employees and the
business. "

THE WHY? Cheng recently assumed
an expanded role leading HR
for the Xfinity consumer business.
With the rising anti-Asian sentiment
taking place in the U.S., he has been
active within Comcast and externally
in promoting awareness, education
and understanding to improve the
situation. He serves as National
Champion for the Comcast Asian Pacific
Americans ERG and he facilitated
a panel hosted by the College of
William & Mary on Strengthening the
Asian Pacific American Community.

THE WHY? An Executive Champion
for AMC Networks' Asian American
Culture Network, Cho also participated
in a PSA campaign by the
Asian Script Lab to address the rise
in anti-Asian hate crimes. He recently
negotiated a carriage deal with Comcast,
helped make AMC+ available
to eligible Verizon customers and established
partnerships with American
Express, JetBlue and Target, among
others, to generate awareness of the
company's streaming services.
HE SAYS... " Foster an environment
where ERGs are not the only forum
where race is considered, debated
and discussed but rather show employees
that the underlying principles
of DEI are organically woven into
driving business forward. "
