THE WHY? Gumbs is a digital equity champion. This year under his
leadership, Big South notched up efforts to promote Comcast's partnership
in the Affordable Connectivity Program, and he's a staunch advocate
for Internet Essentials as well as including Xfinity Mobile as another
affordable way to connect citizens through the ACP. His region has been
heralded for helping businesses affected by the pandemic rebound via
Comcast's RISE Program, and Big South also developed Together Towards
Tomorrow, a partnership with several local chambers of commerce
that awards struggling businesses grants to help them thrive.

always a diverse talent slate. Shy away from hiring someone just like you. "

Spectrum Networks
THE WHY? Han sets the standard for Spectrum Networks' news content
and reporting, displayed by stories that reflect the diverse voices and
audiences it serves. Within the larger company, she also oversees a series
of external speakers who build DEI awareness across the Spectrum Networks
employee population. Outside the office, Han supports the Asian
American Journalists Assn. and has partnered with organizations such as
the Asian American Justice Center and the National Diversity Coalition.
SHE SAYS... " I think successful Employee Resource Groups share three
main characteristics: authenticity, consistency and transparency. The
stated mission of the group should be clearly identified. "
BUCKET LIST TRAVEL DESTINATION? I would love to take my children
to China and Israel so that they can gain a better understanding and
appreciation of their mixed heritage.

THE WHY? You'd be hard-pressed to find a DEI initiative that Hines isn't
involved in, from panels celebrating Black History Month to a Fox Sports
" VOICES " feature on the HBCU Renaissance. She is co-founder of the Fox
Sports Inclusion Council, a founding member of women's career network
AllBright and serves on the board of a foundation that supports people of
color pursuing careers in marketing and advertising. With Hines leading brand
communications ahead of the 2022 FIFA Men's World Cup and Super Bowl
LVII, she'll continue to emphasize diversity on some of the biggest stages.
SHE SAYS... " Being a part of my team is like being a part of a family that
inspires and empowers one another to succeed, have a voice and express their
own uniqueness and creativity. "
BUCKET LIST TRAVEL DESTINATION? Australia and Antarctica. With the
2023 Women's World Cup, I can safely say that Australia is next on the list.
