Portland has so many we enjoy. A go-to place,
though, would be Olympia Provisions.

gave you? " Work hard, take control, and
don't give up! "
An area where media/ broadband could
use improvement? As an industry we should
focus on educating customers on in-home
WiFi. There are so many variables that
impact the experience: Age of device, quality
of router, home construction, size of home,
density, etc.
What product or service could you not live
without? Easy... Broadband

When Lynch was
appointed to her position last year, she said
she wanted to explore the ways Comcast
could bring value to its customers and also
contribute to local communities. She accomplished
the former last September by offering
new internet service speeds up to 1 Gigabit
per second to residential customers. Lynch
succeeded with the latter by encouraging more
than 150 employees to volunteer at a local
elementary school for the annual Comcast
Cares Day in April.

A HELPING HAND

When Hurricane Harvey left thousands without
power last summer, Martinez immediately
stepped up to provide a damage assessment to
local and state officials in order to help customers
regain usage of their Comcast services.
He made a $1 million commitment in support
of Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner's Hurricane
Relief Fund and the American Red Cross. Additionally,
under Martinez' leadership Comcast
allowed non-Xfinity customers to use hotspots
during the crisis caused by the hurricane.

Thanks to McLaughlin, Comcast's reputation
for giving back goes far beyond its annual
Comcast Cares Day. During the past year, she
has launched and signed the Employer Support
of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Statement
of Support, promising the Beltway Region's
commitment to assisting service members and
their families. McLaughlin and her family act as
a " sponsor family " to three Midshipmen, providing
them home-cooked meals and trips to their
favorite eateries. Leading a team of more than
5,000 employees, she was named Cablefax's
MSO Regional Executive of the Year for 2018.

" Always strive for your personal best and treat
everybody with care and respect. "

What product or service could you not live
without? Our Xfinity Stream app and web
portal. Xfinity Stream allows me to watch live
programming anywhere in my home-especially
convenient during workouts-and, I love to be
able to download DVR recordings to my mobile
devices to view on the go.
What's the first thing you read in the morning?
My email, followed by my mobile news
feed, which includes CNN, WSJ, NBC News and
HuffPost.

Maybe it was his mom telling him not to listen to
radio sportscasts (see Q&A) as a youngster, but
Monihan wants to make sure Philadelphia sports
fans have something to listen to so he championed
the return of the " The Mike Missanelli Show " to
NBC Sports Philadelphia. There are legendary
lineups in the City of Brotherly Love, but Monihan's
favorite is his daughter's ice hockey team. The devoted
dad has traveled worldwide to see her play.
