Prior to arriving at YouTube earlier
this year, Broock spent two years
cementing partnership deals for the
virtual reality startup Jaunt in the role
of VP of content. In that position he was the company's
liaison between content creators across Hollywood, TV,
digital media and indie fi lm. It's early days for Broock
at Google, but he'll serve as an important part of the
company's fi rst virtual reality division. In the past,
Broock has produced TV campaigns, online series,
viral videos and other multiplatform content for brands
like Nickelodeon, ABC News, WIRED and others.

When some were questioning TV's
power, Campbell saw an opportunity
for growth as she continually expanded
QVC's programming and worked
to translate the brand across all platforms. Her
forward-thinking approach allowed her to recognize
the need for a stronger strategic alignment between
the company's IT and Commerce Platforms teams.
This relationship led to the accelerated development
and deployment of new platforms, including QVC's
Apple Watch and Apple TV apps. Campbell predicts
multiscreen will continue to blur the lines, and therefore
she is " focusing on not only identifying the right
content for the right customers across channels, but
also driving engagement and loyalty. "

In June of last year Cheng took his
digital expertise-put to good use
for a decade at Disney ABC Television Group-
to Amazon Studios. He's credited with building
Disney's online and on demand platforms, which
ushered the company's TV Everywhere products
toward a number of fi rsts: streaming in HD, streaming
full episodes on an iPad and live linear feeds
of broadcast channels. " We were streaming video
before streaming video became cool, " he remarked
upon announcing his departure. Indeed. At Amazon
Studios' he leads business operations and software
development-and his capable hands are full, given
the company's mandate to produce a dozen new
movies per year.

Clemson is a driving force behind the
Cisco strategy to move video to the
cloud. In the process, he has transformed
the business from an appliance and hardwarebased
approach to one that embraces cloud environments.
These days, Clemson is particularly focused
on extending the cloud migration across the portfolio,
along with big data, streamlining functions required
to produce and deliver multiscreen video, and applying
a data science discipline to protect pay-TV and
programmers' content.

HSN is deepening its integration of
gamifi cation across platforms, and
Cotter's team is at the forefront.
Take its new series " Friday Night
Game Night, " which prompted TV viewers to answer
questions on devices to earn tickets and prizes-
resulting in a 36% increase in game plays. Other
examples include " The Serena Live Fashion Show, "
a multichannel live streaming event during New York
Fashion Week and the net's fi rst-ever, digital-only
live streaming event, with Andrew Lessman. To keep
herself and her crew engaged, her approach is " assembling
a diverse team of people who are willing to
try new things, experiment and research to stay on
top of trends. "
