Listen to the consumer.
Clayton retired his DISH duties in March, but after
four years as CEO his consumer-first approach is
evident at every level, from customer service to
product development. Instead of maintaining the
popular and groundbreaking Hopper Whole-Home
DVR platform, Clayton pushed for enhancements
like Super Joey, Wireless Joey, and Virtual Joey that
nearly eliminate channel conflicts when recording,
streamline installation, and increase portability.

Following her team's successful case
against the TV streaming service Aereo
(which has since shuttered), Tuzon is leading
Fox's legal challenges against the DISH
Hopper ad-skipping feature. She focuses
on both domestic and international legal
affairs, and was involved with Fox Sports'
acquisitions in Latin America and Asia.
Amid her casework, Tuzon makes time
to mentor her staff members as well as
young people striving to succeed despite
economic disadvantages.

Rigdon will be due some credit. He
and his team have negotiated long-term TVE
distribution agreements with multiple content
providers, giving customers the ability to watch
programming across multiple platforms. Rigdon
brings to his role at Comcast an impressive
resume, having held top positions at Charter
Communications and AOL.
