bring others along.
Denson thrives on the challenges posed by the everchanging
cable distribution landscape. Negotiating
advantageous carriage deals for all of the Viacom
Media Networks-and platforms-is more than a
full-time gig. Last year she struck deals with more
than 20 percent of Viacom's subscribers and launched
EPIX with additional distributors including Time Warner
Cable and AT&T.
I watch most programming on this device: Sometimes
I'll catch up on my tablet, but television is still the best.

Do it right the first time
As Cox's point man for content negotiations,
Albert spent the past year quietly
completing a slew of new programming
deals, including those for ESPN's SEC
Network. He's kept Cox riding high in the
hotly competitive and costly sports arena,
buffering the provider somewhat from the
threat of cord cutters and OTT entrants.
Albert knows that the cost of plumped-up
bundles is chipping away at traditional
customers, and he's working hard to strike
a balance between those large bundles
and a-la-carte-the skinny bundle.
If I ever found myself saying " Better Call
Saul, " I'd seek his advice on... negotiating
retransmission consent agreements.

The day we get multiplatform measurement is
the day I...celebrate! We're been going digital for
years-even though it hasn't been measured, our
demos love the flexibility. A single aggregate measurement
is long overdue.
