Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat? Twitter, it's a great
way to keep up with all of our talent.
Favorite vacation spot: Los Angeles, my hometown.
Favorite TV show as a kid: " The Six Million Dollar Man "
17. GAME ELEVATOR
Rich Jennings
Title: SVP, Mile High
Region, Comcast
Years in Cable: 22
Education: University of
Notre Dame
Best Advice in 7 Words
or Less: Trust... but verify.
Jennings will be busier than ever if the ComcastTime
Warner Cable merger goes through. Then, the
Mile High Region will combine with systems from
other states including Missouri and Texas. The region
won't be in better-or more competitive-hands.
Jennings' spirited nature is always identifying ways
for his employees to improve. His new slogan is
called " Elevate our Game " and it serves as a mantra
that inspires his team to constantly deliver superior
customer service.
I watch most programming on this device: iPad
Should the industry embrace or reject " virtual
MSOs " and why? Embrace... They (or some iteration
of alternative/IP service delivery) are inevitable. The real
questions is, How do we lead?
Apple iWatch or Rolex?
Rolex... always go with a " classic. "
Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat? All of the above
The technology that will most benefit cable over
the next year is... outdoor WiFi deployment... We
should own this space. Helps cement brand loyalty outside
if the home, garners cellular " share " and creates a
more seamless customer experience.
18. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Jim Samaha
Title: SVP, Keystone Region,
Comcast Cable
Years in Cable: 17
Education: MBA, New York University
Stern School of Business; BS,
Engineering, Cornell University
Best advice in 7 words or less: Don't do it to impress
someone else.
Samaha never gets distracted from his goals, which
allows him to bring his ideas to fruition. He executed
plans for the full integration of the new Harrisburg
Call Center, which included the hiring of a significant
number of new employees to accomplish staffing
calls. Also, Samaha successfully launched the X1
operating platform, and this year he's been instrumental
in providing direction for the ongoing launch
of public WiFi availability in various locations around
the region.

customers across the country. She continues to focus on
the alignment of Cox's Southeast region, concentrating on
improving sales performance and delivering exceptional
customer experiences. A popular and relatable leader,
Vines began her telecommunications career in 1984 as a
receptionist at Time Warner Cable. She has never lost her
passion for people as her responsibilities have grown.
If I had a show on YouTube it would be called...
" The Vines-Wyatt Bunch. " Together my husband and I
have six children in our blended family. I have three girls
and Leonard also has three children, two boys and a girl.
Our kids range in age from 10 to 23.
If I could interrupt Kanye West just once, I would
tell him... I'm gonna let you finish in a minute, but I just
gotta say that Cox has been so good to me.
My favorite newfound hobby: I have always loved golf,
but it's fun now to be able to share this passion with my
husband. We play every weekend. I have a golf ball for
every course we have played together.
If my office produced a viral video, the background
music would be... " Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now "
Favorite TV show as a kid: " The Brady Bunch " and
" Bewitched. " Can't forget " The Flintstones! "
The last time I had a good laugh was... Every day with
my husband. He is the funniest person I know.

Under McLaughlin's leadership last year, Comcast's
Western New England Region achieved new levels of success.
Those accomplishments include growing its Xfinity

full-year growth rate for Xfinity Internet connections. This
year, McLaughlin has challenged her employees not only to

A native of Michigan, Collins is active in community
efforts to promote the state's continued recovery. Over
the last year, he helped the Heartland region achieve
dramatic gains in subscriptions for the X1 Entertainment
System, which was launched last spring. Collins believes
in encouraging employees to be ambassadors for the

centers, which allowed employees to get more hands-on
experience with all Xfinity services and products.
22. PLANET HOUSTON
