engagement resulted in Discovery Channel's mostwatched
week in history. Menzel suggests new cable
executives study consumers and how they interact and
connect with Discovery products: " We live in an age of
information overload, and true success is never losing
sight of those who interact with your product, " she says.

world, Miller is active on the board of K.I.D.S., a non-profit
that provides valuable resources and needed products to
children in distressed situations all across the world.

highlighted Miller's ability
to innovate for Tennis Channel, which celebrated its
10th anniversary in May. This year's non-traditional
partnership with arts and opera promoter Fathom
Events capitalized on the strong crossover between
tennis fans and opera buffs, and led to a successful
cross-promotion during January's highly rated
Australian Open. Miller also has her eye on content for

means finding ways to maintain her energy level
throughout the day. " Keys to this include exercising
regularly and getting up and moving around
throughout the day, eating healthy meals and
snacks, and avoiding multitasking, which tends to
be an energy drainer, " she says.

has mastered the Latino
millennial market. In just
more than three years
since she took over as GM,
Telemundo has solidified
its position as a top dog in the Hispanic market for
both the 18-49 and coveted 18-34 demo. The latter is
a particular sweet spot, as the network aims to superserve
Latino millennials with 200-plus hours of original
programming in 2013-14, much of it in the reality genre.
With an audience that over-indexes on just about every
tech and digital metric, fans can expect big, multiplatform
rollouts for upcoming launches " Viva Los Vargas, "
featuring boxing champ Fernando Vargas, and real
estate reality show " Reinas de Realty. " Says Mogollon:
" Taking strategic programming risks and seeing them
succeed is incredibly gratifying on so many levels. "
