in the cable industry Abernethy says, " There is still a
lot of work to be done and opportunities to seize for
true gender equality across different fi elds including

and services allowing

rented, owned or subscription content that positioned
Vubiquity as an industry leader in connecting content
owners and video providers. She also led Vubiquity
into the gaming sector with an exclusive B2B global
distribution deal with gaming service Utomik. One
would be wise to heed Antonellis' advice to her
13-year-old self. " Take more chances, don't be at all
risk adverse. For every conversation you have, for
every new person that you encounter, listen and think
about what you'll learn. "

She's responsible for
the development and coordination of the company's
public policy efforts, including competition and
innovation policy, privacy, international policy and
economic development. She has invaluable business
and industry insight on some of the most important
strategic business, legal and regulatory matters
impacting Comcast and the media and technology
industry. Arbogast gives a gold medal to the variety
of powerful women on TV today, noting " Madam
Secretary " and the CW's " Supergirl " and, she adds,
" let's not forget all the women athletes in the
Olympics! "

Arias leads a team that
provides the entire
governance structure,
strategy and implementation
oversight for Comcast's diversity and inclusion
strategy spanning Comcast corporate, Comcast Cable
and NBCUniversal. Recently, the company's broad
diversity strategy has led it to national accolades,
including a DiversityInc Top 50 spot. Arias says she's
very proud of Rio Games athletes Simone Manuel,
Ibtihaj Muhammad, Katie Ledecky and Allyson Felix as
examples of strong role models of women sportscasters.
" We need to continue to champion strong
women in the media, and it's a commitment that can
never stop, " says Arias, who mentors both within and
outside of Comcast.

Sisters program and to mentor women in the Women of
Tomorrow mentor and scholarship program. " The speed
at which technology allows us to offer new products
changes the game, " she says. " I'm also interested in
watching how deals like the Comcast-Netfl ix deal affect
the landscape around content delivery. "

It's been a big year for
Entertainment Studios
Networks, and Arouh is a big reason why. She's won
signifi cant subscriber growth for the company's portfolio
of seven HD networks including Justice Central, Comedy.
TV and Recipe.TV. Distribution has soared 250 percent to
nearly 80 million subscribers during the past year. Look
for her to continue to give incumbent competitors a run
for the money, offering MVPDs alternatives to deals with
elevated licensing fees.

Turner Broadcasting
Since joining TNT in
2015, Aubrey has been
hard at work developing
premium drama series
that are bolder and more daring, and that appeal to
a younger audience- including this year's " Animal
Kingdom. " Her 2017 slate includes " The Alienist, "
based on Caleb Carr's NY Times bestseller about a
serial killer. " I still see work to do on two levels in
particular, " she says on cable industry gender equality.
" The very top ranks of media companies are still
almost exclusively male, and I would love for there
to be a push deeper into the ranks of crews to see
more equality below the line on sets. "
