13 returning series including " The Real Housewives "
franchise, and a batch of newcomers. Levine learned
a prescient life lesson when she worked exercising
race horses in her early 20s: " When falling off
a horse at high speed, make sure to pull in your
tongue and keep your jaw shut, " she says. " If one is
going to aim high, one has to be willing to take some
falls and get bruised as well. "

For years, Lillie has
played a prominent role in strengthening Comcast's
overall diversity strategy. She's gearing up to retire in
January, having been a part of Comcast since joining
as VP, HR for Comcast Corporation and SVP, HR for
Comcast Cable in 2005. She has been integral in
expanding Comcast's partnerships with organizations
that support diverse internship opportunities,
including the Emma Bowen Foundation. Lillie serves
as a mentor in formal mentoring programs through
Philadelphia NAMIC and WICT. On advice she'd give
to her 13-year-old self, Lillie says, " I would tell myself
to listen to my parents and grandparents more. "

Lifetime
Lopez has single-handedly
delivered key talent
to the recent Lifetime
movie development slate,
focusing on content that
fi ts within the network's new brand mantra " The
Fempire " and keeping it a top destination for original
movies across demos. Five of the top movies on
ad-supported cable in 2015 were Lifetime movies
-and all directed by women. Among her recent
talent recruits are Ronda Rousey, Serena Williams
and Janet Jackson. This past year, she also built A+E
Nets' fi rst BBC co-productions with the multipart
series " War and Peace " and " And Then There Were
None. " And she helped create Lifetime's popular
" unauthorized " franchise with " The Unauthorized
Saved By the Bell Story, " " The Unauthorized Beverly
Hills, 90210 Story " and others. The unpredictability
of viewers is top of mind for Lopez. " No cable

led a transformation of Comcast's approach to top
revenue categories-media & entertainment and
automotive, overhauled Comcast Spotlight's annual
program that recognizes top sales leaders and led
efforts for diversity and inclusion. Lucido is a selfaware
leader, listens to others and is an excellent
communicator. " Find something that gives you
happiness and satisfaction-whether you pursue it
as a vocation or a hobby, " is what Lucido advises.

Amy Lynch

Comcast
Lynch was named to her
new position in April of
this year. She is now responsible
for leading the efforts associated with the
entire lifecycle of the outside plant-a key part of
the engineering operations of a territory that spans
11 states across the Western part of the U.S., and
services 7 million customers. She also volunteers
in the community, currently serving on the board of
K-12 and previously on the boards of Boys and Girls
Club and Junior Achievement. Lynch is not afraid
of taking plunges-literally. She once parachuted
out of an airplane at 14K feet to conquer her fear of
heights.

Markley stepped into this
role, adding oversight
of the creative and studio direction group, the ESPN
stats and information group and the L.A. Production

Center to her purview. During the last year she and
her team oversaw Euro 2016 coverage, successfully
executed the College Football Playoff National
Championship " megacast, " and equipped new
studios for several series. Her crew also helped create
the remote facility EN-1, which supports Monday
Night Football. The biggest story in cable this year
has been live streaming, she says, noting, " Sports
fans now have the opportunity to take their cable
anywhere-to watch what they want, when they
want and where they want. "
Maria Martinez

Martinez oversees
everything from
talent acquisition to
succession planning,
leadership development
to employee engagement-even rewards
and wellness programs spanning the $4 billion
direct-to-consumer retail portfolio for HSN and the
Cornerstone portfolio of home and family lifestyle
brands. Her internal initiatives have both defi ned
and made an impact in HSN's corporate culture. No
wonder her advice to her younger self is so wise.
" Take more risks. Try and if you fail, try again or at
least learn from the experience, " she says. " Don't
be too worried about looking dumb or about what
others think of you. Don't let yourself be limited by
fear or judgment. "
Zola Mashariki

Mashariki is a big reason
behind BET's recent
success. She oversees
scripted and unscripted
programming, as well as
original programming development, to keep the 90
million households the network serves coming back
for more. Having joined BET in April 2015 from Fox
Searchlight, Mashariki has exhibited a passion for
storytelling, creative vision and extensive knowledge
of the network's audience. She's excellent
with building strong relationships with fi lmmakers
and creatives, which has resulted in past successful
projects including " The Best Exotic Marigold
Hotel, " " The Last King of Scotland " and " The Secret
Life of Bees. " She has received the Delta Sigma
Theta " Impact " award and has been recognized by
the African-American Film Critics Assn.
