programming focus,
McAvoy is, literally, a woman for all seasons. Busy
year-round generating awareness for Hallmark Channel
and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, among her
biggest accomplishments in 2015 was the creation
and execution of an immersive marketing strategy
around Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas
programming event that raised the network's profi le
in the holiday space and ultimately resulted in record
ratings and delivery. She's recently been immersed
in creating a fresh marketing strategy and creative
look for the 65th anniversary of Hallmark Hall of Fame
franchise, following news that the world premieres of
the select storied movies series would be moving to
Hallmark Channel from ABC.

by infusing brand
voice, transparency and clarity into all customer
communications for the Xfi nity product line. Those
lines include television, high-speed Internet, digital
voice and home security. A valued employee of
Comcast since 1977, McFadden pays it forward by
participating in numerous cable industry associations,
including CTAM and WICT. Additionally, she
actively mentors women at Comcast and through
the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute. " Raise your
hand often, even for the projects that may be out of
your comfort zone, " is what McFadden would say to
her teenage self. " Enjoy life, relish school and don't
put too much pressure on yourself! "

NCTA's Vanguard Award for Marketing. Since turning
her sights toward Discovery Education, she has
continued along the path to success. A focus of her
work is to illuminate the direct connection between
broadband, STEM, and college and career readiness.
This year she led the strategic design, development
and launch of many new Discovery Education
initiatives, including partnering with MVPDs to
support national and local engagement programs
highlighting the importance of digital learning. " As
we endeavor to create meaningful initiatives that
help to close the divide and expand opportunities
and access for all students, I'd love to see us use
the megaphone at our disposal to tell the stories of
innovation and achievement happening in American
classrooms today, " she says.

A little more than a year
ago, McLaughlin concluded
a fi ve-year run as SVP of
Comcast's Western New
England Region in order to
take on her role in the D.C. area, where she now leads
multidisciplinary teams of more than 5,000 employees.
McLaughlin is focused on transforming the customer
experience and delivering the company's best-in-class
products to more than 2 million customers in Maryland,
Virginia and the District, as well as parts of Delaware,
North Carolina and West Virginia. She feels that cable
does a good job of attracting talented women, but sees
room for growth. Creating " the most talented and diverse
senior leaders and boards of directors should be our
focus, " McLaughlin says.

McMahon is indispensable
to WWE both
behind-the-scenes and
on air. In addition to
working with WWE's
business units on key growth initiatives and interacting
with investors, media, advertising, government
and business partners, she's also the spokesperson
for the company's many CSR initiatives. On-air,
McMahon appears regularly on the WWE's fl agship
series " Monday Night Raw, " which is the longestrunning
weekly episode program in television history.
This spring she introduced the WWE's Women's
Championship. " At the moment, the best programming
that refl ects the kinds of women's roles I like
to see is sports, " she says. " I like to see strong,
passionate, women with incredible talent, who excel
as a team and take leadership positions. "
