president of ad sales for Fox News-a wise choice
for the company. During her 26-year career, Gambelli
has garnered a reputation for developing new
revenue streams and creating strategic partnership
opportunities. The former NBCUniversal exec also
is a devoted mentor. What female character does
Gambelli love to watch? Robin Wright as Claire
Underwood in Netflix's " House of Cards. " " I love
the character because of her strength and calm
leadership style, but mostly because of her fantastic
clothes, " she says.

Garrett has helped
ensure that Cox's
transition into the digital economy continues to be
as smooth as her forehand on the tennis court. She
expanded digital sales to 22% of Cox's business and
facilitated interaction between digital and physical
sales channels. She also helped reduce call volume
by improving digital customer journeys, and her
2017 employee opinion survey scores were some
of the highest within Cox. Garrett admires Hillary
Clinton, saying she has " been the poster child of
unconscious and, frankly, conscious bias and I'd love
to ask her how she feels about it. "

Lifetime has tripled
the number of women
directors hired to
help scripted series projects under the network's
award-winning Broad Focus initiative, which Gateley
champions. Alas, further change toward equality
won't come easy, she says. " Most of the discrimination
is unconscious gender bias, which can only be
changed if one calls it out when it happens in the
room, " Gateley notes. " But for that, women are often
labeled 'difficult,' so companies need to become
more educated. "

WE tv's foothold with the
female audience is due in
large part to Gellert, who
oversees its slate of unscripted originals. Among
recent victories, the net experienced record-breaking
viewership with the premiere of " Mama June: From
Not to Hot, " its highest-rated new unscripted series
of 2017. Gellert also serve as an exec producer
for the return of genre-launching " Bridezillas " ; the
reboot is slated to head down the aisle next year.
Murphy Brown is Gellert's fave female TV star. " She
was the most organized, disorganized executive, "
she says.

Boleyn, Joan of Arc, and Eleanor Roosevelt, " she

After leading Scripps' $2
billion acquisition of Poland's TVN, Gibson has played
a major role in its integration into Scripps Networks.
With Discovery's pending acquisition of Scripps, she
is undoubtedly hard at work to ensure the smooth
closure of the deal. Gibson also served as Scripps'
public face when the company decided to join Tennessee
Thrives-a movement opposing legislation
that limits the rights of the LGBT community in
the state-and is an advocate for diversity in the
industry. " I am proud that Scripps has participated in
the Mercer Survey, which is critical to measure the
industry's progress for diversity, including gender
equality. Measuring progress keeps us accountable, "
she says.

Prior to recently taking on
the role of GM at Comedy
Central, Giles served as
Viacom's chief research
adviser. Now, she's using her intuitive knowledge of
ratings and audiences to re-establish Comedy Central's
late-night programming prowess. This year she
bet on comic Jordan Klepper's " The Opposition " to
follow " The Daily Show, " and she also helped launch
the three-day Colossal Clusterfest, giving viewers an
opportunity to interact with Comedy Central outside
