Hong is hitting it out of the park this
year. His elevation to his current,
newly created role in March was a
direct result of his success in growing
and guiding Turner Sports' foothold
in strategy, rights acquisitions, marketing and digital. He was
a key player in the original NCAA multimedia rights agreement
and recent enhanced deal extending the partnership through
2032. He was heavily involved with the renewal of Turner's
partnership with the NBA, broadening the multimedia rights
agreement through the 2024-25 season. He also led the company's
acquisition of Bleacher Report in 2012. " Three years
ago our sector was very focused on 24/7 sports linear networks;
today the main focus is OTT, " he says. Hong's schedule
includes overseeing the extensive NBA Digital portfolio comanaged
by Turner Sports and the NBA; programming the division's
sports assets across TNT, TBS and truTV; and managing
relationships with the NCAA, MLB and PGA of America.

Smalls has decades of experience in
the public and private sectors that
extends beyond her tenure at Viacom. Prior to joining in 1993,
she served in public sector positions, including a decade
as chief of staff for a member of the House of Representatives.
Her role at Nick entails directing fi nancial resources,
personnel and facilities, managing meetings of the executive
management strategic planning team and oversight of
pro-social and corporate responsibility initiatives. At Viacom,
Smalls works with leadership across its brands to champion
multiculturalism, inclusiveness and diversity. Community
involvement is, of course, paramount for Smalls. She serves
on the board of Charleston, South Carolina's forthcoming
African American Museum and has served as Big Brothers
Big Sisters of NYC's board president.

A team player at Fox since 2000,
Teran has held various jobs throughout
her career. Of late she has been
providing solutions to operational
and strategic growth issues in the rapidly evolving new
media environment in both the US and international markets.

Teran, who is trilingual (English, Spanish and French), helps
Fox navigate complex international markets with diverse
political challenges. She participates in various Fox mentoring
and internship initiatives designed to help develop the professional
careers of junior executives. Prior to joining Fox, Teran
can't say she was a particular devotee of sports, however,
now, she prides herself on being a loyal supporter of international
soccer matches.

Jessica Rodriguez

Responsible for defi ning UCI's
marketing platform and functions,
Rodriguez heads up promotional,
creative and media inventory across
the company's broadcast, cable,
radio and digital properties. She was recently behind the new
local news branding campaign, " Tu Gente. Tu Voz, " which
highlighted the deep connection the company's media teams
have with the communities they serve. She also spearheaded
the implementation of a powerful new Univision Network
on-air look and tagline, " Univision. La Que Nos Une " (The One
that Unites Us), which launched this spring. Rodriguez sees
the proliferation of choice as the most dramatic difference
within her business in the last few years. " It takes on different
forms-from the incredible and vast choices in programming
across cable, SVOD, OTT, etc. to the choices around
cutting the cord and skinny bundles. Now more than ever,
there is a curation of content never before seen. It requires
more creativity, innovation and risk taking than ever before. "

In a move that strategically unites
the content creation divisions of two
Hispanic TV giants, Lee was named
chief content offi cer of both Univision and Televisa earlier
this year. The result is an integrated, singular focus serving
the combined 175 million viewers in Mexico and the US. And
they're in good hands. Lee has expanded Univision's diverse
and bilingual digital offerings with the Fusion Media Group,
a multiplatform home that includes Fusion, The Root, The
Onion, Gizmodo Media Group and others. Lee led Univision's
digital expansion and the acquisition of Gizmodo, while also
strengthening the position of Univision News. He defi nes
diversity in cable today as " superfi cial. " " To the extent that
cable has tried to diversify, it's been to check the necessary
boxes while remaining unchanged. There is no real diversity
of viewpoints or opinions on cable today; that is why we created
Fusion, trying to bring new voices to the forefront. "
