Lopez keeps his

Oregon-SW Washington region. He
spearheads initiatives to ensure the
region has a skilled and empowered
workforce, that they operate with
integrity and that they represent the
needs and desires of the customer.
He's equally passionate about bringing
new customers into the Comcast
fold as he is retaining the company's
base-and he has led the region to
achieving a number of important operational,
sales and fi nancial metrics,
while overseeing the development,
beta and roll-out of a home-grown,
cloud-based tool designed for techs in
the fi eld. Lopez also has been a strong
advocate for the Net Promoter System,
continually reminding the 2000-plus
employees in the region that this is a
methodical process, which is demonstrating
positive results.

Lori Lynem

Entertainment
Lynem continues to
lead development
negotiations for pilots
and series for USA,
Syfy, E! and Bravo, as well as coproduction
deals for Universal Cable
Productions. Her goal is to become
a best practice leader in the NBCU
Cable Business Affairs Department
in scripted production. There's little
doubt she'll achieve that goal, as she
has a reputation for being a talented
negotiator. An effective role model
who advises young attorneys, college
students and members of other legal
organizations, Lynem says, " Diversity
in cable should include qualified
individuals of any race, ethnicity or
gender rendering services in front of

Martinez is a firststring
player for
ESPN. Last year
he spearheaded the production of
the 2016 Rio Olympics for ESPN
networks across Latin America, and
played a key role in the collaboration
between the ESPN US and International
teams to assure an integrated,
diverse coverage of the event. His
leadership and work in support of the
2016 Games earned ESPN Deportes
a Sports Emmy for best overall music
direction for " Los Capitanes: Olympic
Suite. " Says Martinez, " The way
people consume content has changed
incredibly. As content creators we're
always challenging ourselves to
make sure we're making content
available to fans where and how they
want to consume it. "

In his own way,
Mathew is keeping
Xfi nity Home customers
safe by overseeing the home
security business strategy for the growing
wholesale businesses. He's helping
innovate the category by integrated
home automation with X1 and Xfi .
Mathew also manages Xfi nity Home's
capital development budget, and was
part of the team that recently acquired
Icontrol Networks. " We are disrupting
the home security industry in numerous
ways, " Mathew says. " We are offering a
value proposition that is bringing many
new customers into this category. "

As HR chief for one of
Comcast's largest regions-encompassing
two
million customers
and 5,500-plus employees-McClendon
was instrumental
in creating a culture of accountability
aimed at turning all frontline workers
into leaders. McClendon, who holds herself
to the same level of accountability
as she does others, says there's always
room for improvement in diversity. " We
must continue to step up our efforts in
developing our employees and promoting
from within to leadership, as well as
attracting and retaining diverse leaders
from our communities and other industries, "
she says.
