Plant Cost Index (CEPCI; top) for
November 2022 (most recent available)
fell slightly from previous month's
value. The decline is the fifth consecutive
monthly decrease, following a long
string of increases between November
2020 and June 2022. For November
2022, the Equipment, Buildings and
Construction Labor subindices all fell,
offsetting a small increase in the Engineering
& Supervision subindex. The
current CEPCI value now sits at 5.4%
higher than the corresponding value
from November 2021. Meanwhile, the

show decreases in the CPI output index
and the CPI operating rate for November
2022.
