The conference program is organized in tracks to allow you to easily select the sessions that
are the right fit for the skills and information you need to succeed.
ASC LEADER SUMMIT
The ASC Leader Summit is designed to address the unique needs
of leaders running outpatient surgery facilities. Bridging the gap for
both freestanding surgery centers and hospital outpatient surgery
departments, the ASC Leader Summit covers the strategic, financial,
operational, clinical, regulatory, leadership and staffing needs specific
to running outpatient surgery centers. Be sure to explore the ASC
Leader Summit pass package that includes the specialized ASC preconference
workshop and ASC luncheon.
BUSINESS
This track is designed for OR managers who are looking to expand
their knowledge on the financial and performance side of the OR.
Discover how to make the right decisions to invest in new technology,
capitalize on data, optimize staffing capacity and achieve peak
performance. This track encompasses business acumen tools and
real-world case studies to help you maximize efficiencies and increase
profitability of your OR.
CLINICAL
The Clinical Track is designed for OR leaders who have a passion
for training and mentoring their teams. Focusing on patient safety
first, this track will help clinical educators improve communications,
develop cross-functional teams, advocate for policy change, improve
the quality of care and increase patient satisfaction.
LEADERSHIP
This track is designed for OR leaders who are looking to thrive in the
most challenging environment. Hear from a diverse group of peers
on success stories and lessons learned in the OR. This track focuses
on developing effective leaders, novel approaches to managing
team dynamics, legislative advocacy, and solutions to the staffing
crisis.
NEW LEADER
The New Leader Track is designed for the OR leader who has recently
been promoted in their role or would like to improve their skills to
successfully lead the surgical suite. A wide range of topics will cover
critical business concepts, human resource issues, patient safety
and quality, staff retention, team communication and much more.
Recommended for leaders with less than 5 years of experience or
veterans seeking a refresher.
PACU
The PACU Track is designed for perioperative nurse leaders who focus
on post-anesthesia care for any surgical specialty. The PACU sessions
will include innovative approaches to post-anesthesia care, creative
strategies to increase staffing capacity, open forum discussions with
veteran PACU leaders, and take-home tools to implement at any
sized facility to increase patient satisfaction.

CE INFORMATION
The OR Manager Conference and ASC
Leader Summit are great opportunities to
earn CE contact hours through breakout
sessions, keynotes, exhibitor CE sessions,
poster presentations, and pre-conference
workshops.
The OR Manager Conference is approved
for 13 contact hours and up to 10.0 hours
of AEUs. Additional contact hours may
be earned by attending pre-conference
workshops, poster presentations, and
exhibitor presented CE sessions. There is
opportunity to earn even more CEs after the
event through post-conference recordings
upon successful completion of a post-test.
The OR Manager Conference (Access
Intelligence) is an Approved Provider of:
* Continuing Education (CEs) by the
California Board of Registered Nursing,
Provider #15831
* Administrative Education Units (AEUs)
by the Board of Ambulatory Surgery
Certification (BASC), Provider #1301.
In addition, OR Manager works with the
Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI),
the leader in perioperative certifications.
The continuing education earned at the OR
Manager Conference can be applied towards
the CNOR, CSSM and CNAMB certification
