The ongoing spread of synthetic vision systems stands as another example, particularly as costs continue to decline and options expand for acquiring the technology. With a synthesized view of the world – a view of only what the software “knows” of the terrain and obstacles – SVS becomes one of those must-have tools for pilots who experience its benefits. but, one gadget can actually help a pilot see through smoke, fog and night conditions, where eyeballs alone leave us in the dark – enhanced vision systems.
