WHAT THEY DO: RUAG Aviation provides many
products and services, including maintenance, repair
and overhaul for business aircraft and helicopters as
well as system upgrades, cabin interiors and aircraft
paint. RUAG Aviation is TC-holder and manufacturer
of the Dornier 228 New Generation twin-turboprop.

One of the units, RUAG Aerospace Services, specializes in
designing, integrating and certifying
glass cockpits and avionics retrofits.
The division has modified a number of Part 23 and Part 25 customer
aircraft, including the RUAG Do
228 New Generation series, various
Bombardier Challengers and Part
27/Part 29 rotary-wing aircraft, such
as the Bell UH-1D series used by
the German Army.
RUAG’s Business Aviation unit
operates four service centers in Europe – Munich, Germany; and Berne,

Technicians provide a range of services, including maintenance, repair
and overhaul for aircraft and helicopters, as well as system upgrades,
cabin interiors and aircraft paint.
