named DAVID COPELAND and ERIK RITZMAN
account managers for its True Blue Power division.
According to the company, Copeland and Ritzman will
manage strategic relationships with aircraft manufacturers,
aftermarket distribution partners and integration partners
for True Blue Power products.
True Blue Power recently introduced the first TSODavid Copeland
certified lithium-ion engine start, main ship battery for
aviation applications. The company's lithium-ion batteries
feature Nanophosphate lithium-ion chemistry to provide
power, energy, safety and life.
An avid pilot, Copeland previously held senior-level
positions at Raytheon Aircraft Company, Cessna Aircraft
Company and Mooney Airplane Company. He brings
more than 30 years of aviation experience to True
Blue Power and serves as vice president of the board
Erik Ritzman
for the Kansas Air Museum. Ritzman previously held
key program management, procurement and inside sales positions at Triumph
Structures and PWI Inc. He received a bachelor's degree in management and Six
Sigma Green Belt certification from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas.

ACR ELECTRONICS said its new ELT 1000 received Cospas-Sarsat and FAA
approvals, and it is now available for sale. According to the company, the ARTEX
ELT 1000 is priced and designed with multiple installation configurations to reduce
overall installation cost.
Including GPS data in the emergency transmission allows search and rescue
personnel to know a location within 100 meters in less than a minute. Designed to
accommodate multiple installation configurations, the new ELT 1000 is a retrofit for
obsolete 121.5 MHz ELTs.
"We are very excited to announce this new ELT to the general aviation market,"
said GERALD ANGELI, president and general manager. "This is the first new
ELT from the ARTEX family in many years, and the first we have designed and
certified at ACR."

operating officer.
Taylor will be
responsible for
operations at the
company's base at
the Colorado Springs
Lee Taylor
airport, where it
offers engineering, manufacturing and
aircraft modification on general aviation,
commercial and special-mission aircraft,
while also specializing in avionics and
installation repair.
"Joining the company is particularly
timely since Trine Aerospace & Defense
recently earned Federal Aviation
Administration Part 145 approval as
a certified repair station," said BRITT
HAM, president and chief executive
officer. "He knows how a maintenance
shop should be run, and he has a clear
vision of where we want to go."
During Taylor's Air Force career, he
led maintenance and modification efforts
across the spectrum from trainers to
stealth fighters and bombers. He served
twice as a squadron commander and as
an in-garrison group commander, leading
up to 1,600 maintenance personnel.
Taylor completed his maintenance career
on the staff of Air Combat Command
working maintenance and sustainment
requirements for all Air Force bomber and
stealth fighter aircraft.
