BendixKing's second STC covers its AeroFlight KA
310 autopilot adapter. The KA 310 allows the KI 300
solid-state flight director indicator to serve as a solesource, three-axis attitude reference and flight director
autopilot, including the KAP 100, 150, 200 and KFC
150, 200, 225 autopilots - an approval that should
help owners save costs on an upgrade to an indicator
supplying the same flight-critical information shown on
the PFD.
Finally, BendixKing earned an STC for its AeroCruze
230 autopilot, a slide-in replacement for the older KFC
150 that can use the installed KFC 150 servos - both
features that should save operators on purchase and
installation costs.
Now with TruTrak in the BendixKing stable, general
aviation operators enjoy a new range of flight-control
systems.
BendixKing's approvals also provide an upgrade
option to operators of more than 6,000 Cessna piston
singles equipped with BendixKing avionics. These
aircraft and many others in Cessna's pilot training and
recreation line can have their life extended through
BendixKing's new upgrade offerings, including the
AeroVue Touch PFD, the AeroNav MFD and the
AeroPoint 200, a powerful engine analyzer and display
to help pilots optimize performance, and ADS-B
compliant solutions.
Boeing's Jeppesen Division
Boeing introduced its newest digital application,
Jeppesen Mobile QuickClear, a software application
created in partnership with Airside Mobile for
encryption and data management services to help
simplify the international clearance process with the
U.S. Customs and Border Protection for pilots.
"Mobile QuickClear helps pilots manage the entire
customs process in one place," explained William
Ampofo, vice president of Business and General
Aviation, Boeing Global Services, to improve "their
efficiency by enabling easier access to required
clearance information."
Working seamlessly with the popular Mobile
Passport app, used already by more than 7 million
commercial passengers today, Mobile QuickClear
securely collects passport information to relay it to
the CBP agents via Mobile QuickClear for a seamless
Advanced Passenger Information System manifest

Dynon SkyView HDX AML grows
beyond 600 aircraft
Dynon's penetration into the certificated aircraft
market grew earlier this year
with the addition of
approvals for the
SkyView in five
more Bonanza
models - the P35,
S35, V35, V35A,
and V35B Aircraft -
before expanding yet
again to nearly 600
approvals under an
expanded AML.
Approval of
Dynon products
cover its full suite of
certified avionics for certificated piston
single-engine aircraft models.
Base SkyView HDX configurations include primary
and backup flight displays, synthetic vision, and VFR
mapping, flight planning, and navigation.
Display size options include both 10-inch and 7-inch
models to fit a wide variety of instrument panels.
Engine monitoring, additional displays, and other
features and controls are optional components of the
STC.
STC pricing for all aircraft models in the AML
expansion is now just $2,000 for all aircraft models.
