Forge, the next evolution of Honeywell's popular GoDirect
portfolio of digital solutions, will help large-cabin business
jet operators increase the efficiency of their aircraft's
flight operations while optimizing satellite connectivity and
improving the passengers' experience.

oneywell recently unveiled its all-new Forge
analytics platform, which is the next generation
of its popular GoDirect portfolio of solutions.
According to the company, Forge will evolve to include
a suite of "state-of-the-art enhanced offerings, partner
integrations, and a better user experience."
Honeywell Forge provides business aviation customers
with an easy-to-use, integrated dashboard that sends realtime alerts on connectivity
issues and flight plan changes.
With full visibility into
their services, customers
can use the platform to tap
into data that helps flight
departments troubleshoot and fix issues as soon as they
arise. Based on these insights, Honeywell Forge can
improve the passenger connectivity experience, help
manage profitability, and give flight departments a better
understanding of their fleet.
As John Peterson, vice president and general manager
of the software and services division at Honeywell
Connected Enterprise, Aerospace, explained, Forge has
been developed to deliver a different value proposition to
operators in the business aviation market.
"We understand that flight departments need a holistic
solution that combines the entire fleet operation into a
single view," he said. "Honeywell Forge is a powerful
suite of technologies that enables operators to prevent
problems and have ongoing visibility into their fleet

status in real time. This information helps them focus
on their work with the assurance that any issues will
immediately be brought to their attention.
"We've built this incredible enterprise software stack
that we've been applying in the airline market and the
defense market, and now we've found the right place to
apply it in the business aviation market. And this (Forge)
is the first release. We are going to have new releases
every six to 12 weeks that bring
in more capabilities, integration
and partners."
According to Peterson, the
initial Forge release features a
suite of software enhancements
that will help customers oversee their entire operation to
help improve how they manage their fleet operating costs
while enhancing passenger experiences. Examples of
these Forge benefits include:
*	 Custom alerts on an integrated dashboard, so DOMs
and flight operations managers always know the
status of their aircraft wherever they are in the world.
*	 Real-time insights and actions to address
SATCOM connectivity issues, changes in flight
plans, the availability of navigation database
updates, and maintenance events.
*	 24/7 personalized service and support from
Honeywell's best-in-class support team.
