The team also includes three other A&P mechanics, according
to Tina Pinson. " For certain projects, the A&Ps do well to finish
on their own. If they have questions, they ask Milton, Danny or
Nathan. Sometimes, Milton provides a closer check, especially
for certain inspections. We also have a couple of noncertificated
technicians who work with the certificated mechanics and techs. "

" Although we're in Colorado, it doesn't get really cold here, "
Danny Pinson said. " We're in a banana belt valley. In winter,
it rarely goes below 15 degrees and doesn't snow that much
because Grand Junction is a high desert at 4,800 feet. In the summer,
it can get up to 102 degrees, but it cools back down to 65

The disrupted supply chain is the biggest challenge the
Pinsons face these days. It's taking up to three months to receive
parts for some aircraft, according to Danny Pinson. In some
cases, six months.
" I can only hold so many airplanes in my hangars, " he said.
" Right now, I have four airplanes torn apart, waiting on parts for
three or four months. That's hard on customers and our business. "
At her desk, Tina Pinson completes customer paperwork,
sends out invoices and orders for parts, pays vendors, and fills
out FAA documentation, including Form 337 for major repairs
and alterations. Even before the shop opened, she helped write
the repair station manual and made up the forms and systems
they would be using for the company.
" Tina is an important part of our business, " Danny Pinson
said. " Without her handling the paperwork, the work doesn't get
done. In the end, it truly takes all of us. " q
