May issue is traditionally dedicated to an
international flavor. While this month's
edition places greater emphasis on content designed
for AEA member companies located outside the United
States, the global focus never stops.
Avionics technicians know training is the lifeblood
for a long and successful career. Indeed,
industry professionals never cease to
grow their knowledge and capabilities
when it comes to all things technical and
regulatory. Although the majority of the
AEA membership is headquartered in the
United States, it's important to remember
that the association also works to daily
serve the global membership in more than
40 countries.
Building upon this international twist,
Through this cooperative agreement, the AEA
enables access to a wide range of training courses for
its members at a fixed 25% discount. All courses are
available at ATS' headquarters in Billund, Denmark,
or locally at the AEA member upon a case-by-case
request. AEA members may find descriptions of courses

Another example of where the rubber meets the road
in the AEA's international outreach revolves around the
association's partnership with AEROTEAM Training
Solutions that offers a wide range of technical training
(initial and continuation) to the European community. In
fact, this program is tailored to meet the EASA regulatory
requirements and is discounted for AEA members.

stop in Europe. Once again, the AEA will
take its show on the road for regional
meetings, which convenes members
from OEMs and approved maintenance
organizations for two days of training,
troubleshooting tips, networking and
professional development.
Registration is now open for the following AEA
Regionals outside the United States:
* AEA Canada: Aug. 24-25 in Calgary, Alberta.
* AEA Europe: Oct. 5-6 in Prague, Czech Republic.
* AEA South Pacific: Nov. 9-10 in
Queenstown, New Zealand.
Of course, AEA Regionals in the U.S. also will take
place later this year in Daytona Beach, Florida (Sept.
14-15); Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (Sept. 28-29); and
Reno, Nevada (Oct. 26-27). More information on these
