CREDENTIALS ALERT

ovember is the month for UFDC member clubs/
online clubs to elect and register club delegates
and alternates for the 71st Annual Business Meeting
of UFDC to be held during the annual convention in
Dallas, Texas, July 21 thru July 25, 2020.
Please be on the alert for the CREDENTIALS FORMS
and detailed instructions that will be mailed to all club
presidents. If club presidents have not received the
credentials information by the end of November, notify
UFDC Headquarters at (816) 891-7040 or info@ufdc.org.
Clubs/online clubs are entitled to ONE delegate and
ONE alternate for every 20 members. Delegates and
alternates must be current members of the club they
represent and listed on the UFDC roster as of September
1, 2019 to be eligible to vote at the 2020 Annual Business
Meeting. Members registered on the UFDC roster after
September 1, 2019 will not be accepted as delegates or
alternates. A club member may represent ONLY ONE
club as either a delegate or an alternate. According to
the UFDC bylaws, each member Officer or Regional
Director is entitled to one (1) vote and therefore, MAY
NOT serve as a club delegate or alternate. 
To register delegates and alternates, clubs should
follow the instructions accompanying the credentials
forms carefully and be sure to send the completed
credentials forms to UFDC Headquarters. They must be
postmarked no later than Wednesday, January 15, 2020.
CREDENTIALS FORMS POSTMARKED AFTER
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 15, 2020, WILL NOT BE
ACCEPTED. Delegates and alternates cannot be
changed, altered or added to after the January 15,
2020 deadline.
All delegates and alternates can register for the
2020 National Convention immediately by sending a
completed UFDC 71st Annual Convention registration
form to the UFDC 2020 Registrar at the UFDC
Headquarters at 10900 N. Pomona Ave., Kansas City,
MO 64153. The form is in this issue of DOLL NEWS
and on the UFDC website www.ufdc.org under the
convention tab.
Every year many properly elected delegates and
alternates are unable to register to vote at the annual
Business Meeting because credentials forms were mailed
late or not mailed at all. Every club/online club is urged
to make delegate and alternate selections with care,
and to MAIL THE CREDENTIALS FORM TO UFDC
HEADQUARTERS POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 15, 2020.
