Wednesday night enjoy An Evening with Alan Scott Pate where Alan will take us on his journey to
research and publish his latest book to be released at convention, titled Ichimatsu: Japanese Play Dolls.
Thursday, July 22 highlights include the Annual Business Meeting, Public Day in the Sales Room,
Publisher's Preview, the main Junior Event, and an interactive exhibit by the Doll Doctors Association. It will
be a very busy day indeed kicking off with our Annual Business Meeting in the morning and followed by
Public Day in the Sales Room. Coinciding with that will be Publisher's Preview just outside the Sales Room
in the foyer. Have you published a doll-related book since we last met in Nashville in 2019? If so, and you'd
like to participate, drop me an email at Connie@ufdc.org.
Alongside Publisher's Preview in the Harborside Ballroom foyer, you will have the opportunity to meet
UFDC members who are also members of the Doll Doctors Association. They will be exhibiting dolls which
have been repaired or restored and will answer any questions you may have. The doctors will be able to
refer you to professionals in your area for doll projects you may have at home needing attention. Examples
of restoration in the " before " and " after " state will be on display and attendees will gain an understanding
the restoration process. Doctors can often save dolls that without the help of a professional would otherwise
