Local eateries accommodate diners' desires to eat outside

O
utdoor dining no longer means parking at a local
burger stand and eating in your car or throwing
a blanket on the ground for a picnic. There are
plenty of local restaurants that have created space
to serve diners al fresco style.
Laredo Grill, one of the more established outdoor dining
venues, boasts outdoor lighting and a new patio mister that
offers respite from the weather. MuleKick @ MAD offers a laidback,
fun atmosphere, featuring an outdoor dining area with
fire pits and relaxing lounge furniture. The patio at Antigua's
is equipped with a quaint fountain bubbling in the background,
providing a bit of ambiance. A spectacular view can be found at
Mystic Grill at Mystic Creek Golf Club, where diners can enjoy
a meal on the balcony looking out over majestically landscaped
fairways. The interior of Mystic Grill is surrounded by glass
walls so even indoor diners can enjoy a sense of being outdoors
with gorgeous vistas.
Along East Main, you'll find Corinne Court, a fountaincentered
plaza with a beautiful courtyard. Corinne Court
hosts two outdoor dining establishments with patio seating:
Off the Rail Café and House of Wylie. Other options include
Papa Pablano's, Hotshots, and Johnny B's. For a dog-friendly
atmosphere, take your best canine friend to Three Birds Brewing
Company or Ziggi's. A pup cup is even on the menu at Ziggi's!
South Arkansas enjoys a majority of the year where the
weather is conducive to eating outdoors. The mild temperatures
are perfect for dining with family and friends in the open air,
leaving the daily grind far behind. p
