restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. Centrally
located in the historical district of downtown, eating at
Off the Rail Cafe will ensure you start your day off on

Dine in a beautiful setting within the rail car itself or on
their spacious patio area as you take in the sights and sounds
of El Dorado. Omelets, several varieties of pancakes, oatmeal,
and French toast are but a sampling of their breakfast items.
Guests can also order signature dishes and enjoy a southern
spin on their breakfast favorites. Off The Rail Cafe makes it
easy for everyone to leave happy with their generously sized
entrees and customizable sides. Children can enjoy their own
train-themed breakfast when they order the Thomas the Train
Pancake plate. With fresh ingredients and plates prepared as
they are ordered, you'll feel right at home during your dining

ne of the newest additions to the El Dorado restaurant
scene is MAD House 101. The restaurant serves as a
" front door " to the Murphy Arts District occupying the
space originally home to the Griffin Auto Company
showroom. MAD House 101 features an impressive menu with
a casual family friendly atmosphere while also offering more
intimate spaces for business dinners and date nights.
As you peruse the menu, muffuletta bread with a pepperedolive
oil bowl is delivered in a complimentary fashion. Popular
starters include Fried Mushrooms, Crab Cakes, and the Cheese
and Sausage Plate. A variety of palate-pleasing entrees offer
something for everyone from steaks, seafood, pasta, chicken,
and salads. Owner and head chef, Dean Morrison, gives every
plate served special attention before leaving the kitchen. Make
sure to save room for dessert as their selection of sweets includes
Chocolate Lava Cake, Blair's Fudge Brownie Sundae, and Italian
Cream Cake.
Twice a month, you'll hear several types of live music on the
MAD House 101 stage. Check out the MAD House 101 Facebook
page for a schedule of upcoming performances from local and
regional artists as well as the performances in the First Financial
Music Hall adjacent to the restaurant.
