provides quality dairy products to
surrounding communities. Milk is
bottled in glass bottles, and comes fresh
from the family-owned cows. Tour
guests enjoy new calves, watching the
dairy production line and sampling
products. At the end guests get to eat a
fresh-from-the-cow ice cream cone.

Acorns Wild
Step back in time and visit a Kansas
homestead with a herd of elk out the
back door. Acorns Resort offers guided
tours in a 14-passenger bus, traveling to
the historic 1800s Acorns Wild land.
A minimum of six and maximum of
14 people are required for scheduled
and group appointments. Schedules

The nature center includes dioramas
featuring an aquatic system with over
300 life-like fish, turtles, snakes, insects,
and a terrestrial system
highlighting wildlife. The
center also shows how to
entice birds and butterflies to
backyards. A butterfly house is open
from May to October.

Want to get a closeup of the fish that
will be stocked in Kansas waters? Visit
the Milford Fish Hatchery, located next
to the nature center. The hatchery is
nationally known for its production of
species such as walleyes, wipers and
catfish. Visitors are welcome to view
