Daniel Belega joined the Department of Measurements and
Optical Electronics, Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, University Politehnica of Timis¸oara, Romania where
he is currently a Full Professor. He received the B.S. degree in
electronics and telecommunications, the M.S. degree in electrical measurements, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics from the
University Politehnica of Timis¸oara, Romania in 1994, 1995,
and 2001, respectively. His current research interests include

and analog-to-digital converter testing.

Raul Ionel is a Senior Lecturer at the University Politehnica of
Timis¸oara, Romania, in the Department of Measurements and

and 2008, respectively. He did research work in various institutions, particularly with the Power Plant Technology Institute,
Stuttgart University, Germany (2007), at the Karlsruhe Technical University, Germany (2012), and the Technical University

Liliana Mât¸iu-Iovan is a Senior Lecturer at the University
Politehnica of Timis¸ oara, Romania, in the Department of
Measurements and Optical Electronics. She received her B.S.
degree in electronics and telecommunication and Ph.D. degree
in electronics from the University Politehnica of Timis¸oara,
Romania in 2001 and 2012, respectively. Her current research
interests include electronic measurements and instrumentation, signal processing, and spline interpolation.
Ciprian Dughir is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informational Technologies,
University Politehnica of Timis¸oara, Romania. He completed
his Ph.D. degree in 2010 with the thesis "Electrical Power Network Quality Monitoring." His research work is focused on
renewable energy, drones, and photography.
