Aimé Lay-Ekuakille (SM '12) has been with the Department
of Innovation Engineering at the University of Salento, Italy
since 2000 and is currently the Director of Instrumentation
and Measurement Lab I. Prof. Lay-Ekuakille received the
Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from the Polytechnic
of Bari, Italy in 2001. His main areas of research are: instrumentation and measurements for biomedical, environmental
and industrial applications; sensors and sensing systems;
nanotechnology; artificial intelligence instrumentation and
measurement; and ageing and characterization of photovoltaic panels.
Moise Avoci Ugwiri is currently a Ph.D. student in the Industrial Department of the University of Salerno, Italy. He
received the bachelor's degree in electromechanical engineering and the master's degree in applied mechanics engineering
from the ISTA University in D.R. Congo. His area of research is
measurement for industrial applications, in particular, signal
processing and fault detection. He is also currently working on
robotics for medical applications.

Pietro Picuno is Professor of Agricultural Engineering at the
University of Basilicata, Italy. (Italy). He is a member of the Focus
Group of the EU EIP-AGRI on "Reducing the plastic footprint of
agriculture" and is Chairman of the CIGR Working Group on
"Rural Development and Preservation of Cultural Heritage."
Consolatina Liguori has been a Full Professor of electrical
and electronic measurements at the University of Salerno, Italy since 2012 and she is a guest professor at the STC Research
Centre (Mid Sweden University) within the field of electronic
measurement systems. She earned the Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering, and her current research interests include
smart metering, image-based measurement systems and digital signal processing, measurement characterization, and
instrument fault detection and isolation.
Satya P. Singh is with the Nanyang Technological University
in Singapore. He received a B.Tech. degree in electronics and
telecommunications engineering from the Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers, New Delhi, India, the
M.Tech. degree from J.C. Bose University of Science & Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, Haryana, India, and the Ph.D. degree
in electrical engineering from Gautam Buddha University, Gr.
Noida, India. His areas of research are artificial intelligence,
machine learning and deep learning, instrumentation and
measurements.
