Madison Cohen-McFarlane (madison.mcfarlane@sce.carleton.ca) is a Ph.D. degree candidate in biomedical engineering

Guelph in 2015 and her M.A.Sc. from Carleton University in
2017. Her current research includes remote monitoring methods aimed at improving long-term care of older adults at

Stephanie Bennett received her B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova

Bruce Wallace is Executive Director of AGE-WELL Sensors
and Analytics for Monitoring Mobility and Memory National
Innovation Hub, Adjunct Research Professor with the Systems
and Computer Engineering Department, Carleton University, Ottawa, and an Affiliated Researcher with the Bruyère
Research Institute. He has over 20 years of experience in the
high technology sector. His current research interests include
the application of sensors, signal processing, and big data analytics to cognition measurement with a specific focus on the
cognition issues associated with aging and older adults. He is
