delays and buffering that are requirements to achieve the required quality of service of the said system.

A Glance into the Future
The DT of a human is a replica of a living person. It facilitates
the intake of sensory data and simulates conditions quickly,
understands what-if scenarios clearly, predicts results more
accurately, and outputs instructions to manipulate the physical world.

Preventive Medicine
The idea is now very achievable where a virtual representation of a human being would progress to the point where one
could look at their virtual self and visualize how they are doing in terms of their health and what is happening inside their
body: what illnesses could be preparing although the symptoms did not show yet, depending on what health choices they
have been making in the past. The DT would have all of the
necessary elements: medical record and health information,
weather, GPS, time, financial information, eating behavior,
sleeping information, workout data, etc., to infer the health

can be achieved using advances in smart homes, including

accurate. This inaccuracy can happen due to the fact that users
need to manually input subjective information regarding their
personality. Some people might not accurately assess themselves and some others will simply enter false information for
unknown purposes. DTs can help us have a more accurate description of ourselves. With DTs on the web, people not only
will have information regarding their counterpart, they also
could simulate situations that will give them a better idea of
the person that they are dealing with. The final result will be
better matching, reduce the number of fake profiles, and predict the outcome of a future event.

companies worldwide. The potential of the DT is such that
its integration and deployment in smart cities for the benefit of citizens is becoming more of a necessity than a luxury.
Health and well-being are at the top of the list of domains that
can benefit from the DT technology. Social interactions, sports,
and memories can be also improved greatly. In the meanwhile,
challenges discussed in this article have to be solved as we
move towards this trending and highly promising technology.
