For future work, an area of improvement could be on the
type of feedback. For example, we could provide sound feedback
or mark the joints with different colors, such as red, if they
are not doing the exercises correctly. Haptics can help participants
who reported that they could not see the instructions on
their smartphone as they would still receive some feedback.
We can also use the system's information to try and model
users' performance using DL; this way, we can predict how
well users would perform a routine based on their past performances
and progress over time. It can help users be more
invested in the Digital Twin Coach.

Rogelio Gámez Díaz (rgame013@uottawa.ca) received the
M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of
Ottawa, ON, Canada in 2021. He has several years of experience
in mobile and backend development using Microsoft
Technologies such as Xamarin and SQL Server. His research
interests are Smart Coaching, Pose Estimation, Machine
Learning and Digital Twins.
Fedwa Laamarti is currently a Part-time Professor at the
University of Ottawa, ON, Canada, where she received her
Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering. She has
several years of experience in industry, in software design and
analysis. She is working on multiple research projects with
the Multimedia Communications Research Laboratory. Her
research interests include the Digital Twin for Health and Wellbeing,
Artificial Intelligence, and Serious Games.
Abdulmotaleb El Saddik (F'09) is Distinguished University
Professor at the University of Ottawa, ON, Canada. His
research focus is on the establishment of Digital Twins to facilitate
the well-being of citizens using AI, AR/VR and Tactile
Internet, hence allowing people to interact in real-time with
one another as well as with their digital representation. He is a
Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, Fellow of the Engineering
Institute of Canada, Fellow of the Canadian Academy of
Engineers and Fellow of IEEE.
