Jerry Chun-Wei Lin (M'08-SM'19, jerrylin@ieee.org, corresponding
author) is a Full Professor with the Department
of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mathematical
Sciences, Western Norway University of Applied
Sciences, Bergen, Norway. He received his Ph.D. degree
from the Department of Computer Science and Information
Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan,
Taiwan in 2010. His research interests include big data
analytics, machine learning, privacy preservation and security,
optimization, and IoT applications. He is a Fellow
of IET (FIET), ACM Distinguished Scientist and IEEE Senior
Member.
Gautam Srivastava (M'18-SM'19, SRIVASTAVAG@brandonu.ca)
is an Associate Professor at Brandon University,
in Manitoba, Canada. He was awarded a B.Sc. degree from
Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa, U.S.A. in 2004,
followed by M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of
Victoria in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, in 2006 and
2012, respectively. His research interests include Cryptography,
Data Mining, Security and Privacy, and Blockchain
