Teaching: The course " Measurement and Test Technology "
introduces theories, methods, and techniques of measurement
systems and test technology to undergraduate students
majoring in mechanical engineering and automotive engineering,
including basic concepts of measurement methods, static
and dynamic characteristics of signals, measurement system
behavior, and uncertainty analysis of typical measurement
systems. This course aims to help students understand the fundamental
theory of modern measurement and test technology,
to have them solve real-world problems. This course has been
taught by TC-3 Chair Prof. Weihua Li for more than five years
and has benefited over 100 students (Fig. 4).

of Mechanical

and fault diagnosis of
mechanical systems, inc

analysis methods, vibration
monitoring techniques
of rolling elements,
intelligent
fault diagnosis
methods, acoustic emission
and ultrasonic detection,
and the design of typical
fault diagnosis systems.
This course aims to help

students understand and gain basic knowledge of fault diagnosis
of mechanical systems, establish a serious research
attitude, and develop their innovative ability.
The course " Robotic Systems Design " provides basic
knowledge for choosing and functionally designing industrial
robots. Topics covered include an overview of the mechanical
devices or components used in the robots, an introduction to
path planning theory, mathematical analysis of principal kinematic
chains, dynamic analysis, and on the criteria for the use
of industrial robots. The emphasis is not on the control algorithm
structures or complicated robot mathematical modeling
but on learning the fundamental concepts and core principles
