What people don't know about you:
Most people don't know that
I am a professional magician
and perform magic at corporate
events, weddings, fundraisers, and on regional television. Most
people also don't know that I was a Homicide Detective for
13 of my 21 years in law enforcement and investigated over
150 homicide cases during my career. Additionally, most
people don't know that I have a huge interest in psychology,
anthropology, and sociology. Most of the books I read are
centered around behavioral science.
Favorite Book: Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman
Favorite Movie: Every Harry Potter movie (too hard to choose
1 of them)

What has being a member of IASIU done for you? Membership
with IASIU has been paramount to success in the investigations
my SIU team handles. The professional networking and training
opportunities are greatly beneficial for growth and development.
What motivated you to obtain the CIFI? The CIFI is the highest
accreditation you can earn in the SIU industry. I was motivated
to obtain the CIFI to be recognized for my commitment to not
only my own professional growth, but also to the collective effort
to combat insurance fraud.
What benefits do you anticipate because you obtained the CIFI?
Industry recognition for having specialized skills and knowledge
in insurance fraud investigations. Opportunities to be both an
attendee and a guest presenter at IASIU national and local training
conferences.
