pcso business COmPOnenT RePORTS California CAO ’s new look is almost complete! The board has been working hard to deliver consumer awareness campaign initiatives that will help advocate for our specialty and encourage new patients to select orthodontists to provide their treatment. A major initiative of the campaign has been to launch a new brand that reflects the strength, stability and authority of CAO, positioning CAO as the gold standard and trusted advocate for our members and the public. Another very important part of the awareness campaign is our newly revised member website: ( The site is much more contemporary and user friendly than ever before, incorporating many new resources and advanced technology. A prominent feature of the site is a member directory that allows orthodontists to add information on their practices. We encourage you to visit the new CAO site—and especially to populate your profile—at: In addition to the new member site, CAO has launched its first-ever public site: ( The public site is intended to promote the use of orthodontic specialists for care, provide general information on orthodontic treatment, and help individuals to locate orthodontists in their respective geographical areas. Information used to populate your profile on the member site will migrate to the consumer site. CAO has expanded its product line to include brochures in additional languages. In addition to English, the informed consent brochures entitled “Smile, Now 8 Let’s See Your Bite” (formerly “Bite Down Early”) and “You and Your Orthodontist” will be available in Spanish and Chinese versions. Much more information will be coming your way on these products. Be sure to visit our new sites and order our new products.
