The 2020 Jarabak Award winner is Dr. Greg
Huang of PCSO.

PCSO Annual Session in Honolulu.

2020 AAOF Awards Program
The award materials for 2020 have been posted
on our website. The deadline is Friday, November
15, 2019. If you have questions about the process,
please contact the AAOF offices at 314-292-6546
or jbode@aaortho.org. The Planned Awards
Review Committee will be meeting in January
2020 to review applications for potential grant
opportunities.
Update on New Initiatives
The much-anticipated launch of the Auxiliary Donations for Orthodontic Research and Education
(ADORE) Program occurred at the AAO Annual
Session in Los Angeles. Thank you to Rosemary
Bray and the ADORE team for their dedication
to this newest initiative of the AAOF. ADORE has
been created to allow for orthodontic team mem"I'd like to thank the

meant a lot to my
fellow co-residents
and me as it allowed
us to participate in
organized orthodontics on a national
level to learn about
the changes affecting our profession and how we can help.
Furthermore, listening to the world-renowned
orthodontists discuss new and innovative
treatment approaches was fascinating and
inspiring. I am so grateful for the continued
support the AAOF provides to all residents."-

At the AAO Annual Session in Los Angeles,
the Resident Gift Program was also launched.
Through this effort, the AAOF supported our
orthodontic residents with approximately
$330,000. The AAOF believes in education and
research, and the Annual Session is a wonderful
way for residents to be exposed to some of the
best current orthodontic research and education
available. Thank you to our donors who helped
make this program possible.
