RightHand Technologies is an original design manufacturer

with wider data channels. Passengers connecting via Wi-Fi
6 will experience improved battery life by putting the Wi-Fi
radio to sleep until it's needed, " a video Loffredo presented
informed attendees. " Your passengers get the latest in
security for their confidential data, with WPA3. CabinLink 6
more efficiently shares bandwidth among multiple clients, with
improved antenna and waveform technologies, " according to
the video.
" We designed CabinLink 6 for ease of installation, with a
small footprint, detachable radome antenna for tight fits and
five Ethernet ports to eliminate the need for a separate gigabit
Ethernet switch router. Ease of installation is further enhanced
by a web-based configuration GUI allowing access to firewall,
router switching and Wi-Fi parameters, " the video continued.

Shadin Avionics
Shadin Avionics, long a fixture in fuel-flow and aircraft data
systems, was recently purchased by a private investment
concern, the Maverick Investment Company. Mike Ingram is
president and CEO of Maverick, and also serves as president
and CEO of Shadin Avionics. He previously was vice
president and general manager of the avionics business unit
at Honeywell Aerospace. Maverick Investment also acquired
a second company, Electronic Concepts and Engineering,
or ECE, which Shadin describes as " a full-service electronic
OEM product development and manufacturing supplier " in the
military, aerospace and industrial markets.
" What I want to talk to you about today with a new product,
it's really looking at the synergies between both companies "
under the Maverick Investment umbrella, Ingram told
attendees. " So many things across your aircraft, whether
it's defense or civil,
needs an embedded
control system. "
Ingram presented a
chart to attendees,
which gave examples of products from Shadin and ECE,
ranging from a relatively simple device controlling the heating
and cooling of an airliner's first-class seat to a full-authority
digital engine control for a turbine engine.
" We do the engine controls for an APU for a landbased
product, " Ingram said. " We do a hypersonic missile,
controlling the different propulsion stages. We've also done
embedded controllers for measuring the pressure on struts, to
determine the overall weight and center of gravity of a vehicle.
This platform is a 70-to-80% solution, with a Simulink API
interface, that allows you to save costs and save time on your
new development.
" If you have an electro-mechanical system and you need
