Laine Angstadt
Name: Laine Angstadt
Hometown: Easton, PA
Podiatric School: Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine
What is your favorite subject/class at your podiatric school? Surgical Skills--it was a very
hands-on class that taught me valuable techniques like suturing and hand ties. Lower
extremity anatomy was also one of my favorites because knowledge of anatomy is the
foundation of everything we do.
What is your favorite hype song? It changes often but " Juke Box Hero " by Foreigner and " Til
I Collapse " by Eminem are classics
What are you most excited about as you enter your fourth year? I'm really excited to travel to
different parts of the country and make new connections with fellow students, residents,
and attendings at the programs I am externing at. I also love food so I'm planning on
hitting up the best restaurants in every city I'm at!
What is your favorite memory from your third year rotations? I've enjoyed developing my
clinical skills and have had some memorable (hilarious) patient interactions at the Foot and
Ankle Institute. An elderly lady once brought a portable DVD player to clinic so she could
watch a recording of the Eagles 2018 Super Bowl game throughout her appointment. She
made me watch the " Philly Special " play at least 5 times. We only got through the first 2
quarters but she assured me she would come back next month so we could watch the rest.

Anatomy
What is your favorite hype song? good 4 u - Olivia Rodrigo
What are you most excited about as you enter your fourth year? I am most
excited to learn from as many attendings, residents, and other students as
possible. I think there is something to learn from every interaction and I
look forward to learning as much as I can!
What is your favorite memory from your third year rotations? My favorite
memory has been seeing a patient in the clinic after a neuroma excision.
The patient was very grateful for the pain relief and it was a great reminder
of the positive impact we can have on our patient's lives.
