Hiraoka's conventional PVC-PVDF Series reflects substantial high-tech
advancements. Our vast experience and extensive research has established worldclass
proprietary processing and compounding technologies, excellent antifouling
properties, stain retardation and protection against dirt and grime. The unique
surface treatment of Hiraoka's architectural membranes maximizes antifouling
performance and provides maximum water repellency.
FORMIDABLE WEATHER RESISTANCE PROPERTIES
Hiraoka's 20 years of technological expertise allows us to stand behind a 20-year
warranty for our HG Series architectural membranes, and a 25-year warranty for
HG Series-SHS Type membranes. Dedicated research of surface treatments has
resulted in the creation of enhanced ultraviolet blocking functions and advanced
weather resistance technologies.
NONABRASIVE HF WELDING TECHNIQUE MEETS PURE PVDF SURFACES
Hiraoka's membranes are famous for their excellent and dependable fusing
performance. In 1984, Hiraoka patented a nonabrasive, direct High Frequency
welding technique that did not ruin membrane surfaces. Pure PVDF is impossible
to weld without the abrasion of membrane layers; however, Hiraoka's research and
design team developed a pure PVDF outer layer that withstands high tension and
can be welded without abrasion. Despite the success of this technique, Hiraoka's
research team conducts ongoing research to improve and advance welding methods
for the future.
