Keith Purves, MFC, Trivantage
LLC, and current chair of the MFA
Board, received a 2022 Outstanding
Volunteer Award in recognition for
his work on behalf of ATA and the
Marine Fabricators Association (MFA).
The award recognizes members who
generously give their time to serve
on different boards, task forces and
committees, judge competitions and
provide education and leadership to
others in the industry. Created in 2012,
the Outstanding Volunteer Award is
given to volunteers who regularly go
above and beyond. Since its inception,
44 people have received this award.

Show Stopper winners

Carbon Pole™
won a 2022 IFAI Expo
Show Stopper Award in the Hardware,
Findings and Accessories category. The
telescoping pole is made from black
carbon fi ber and is a solution for lightweight
shade supports for marine awnings,
shade sails, bow shades and more.
The Show Stopper Awards program is
designed to recognize the most popular
products each year among exhibitors
at IFAI Expo (to be called Advanced
Textiles Expo in 2023). The other
